Finally!

Now all authorities agree: the County Administrative Board, the Police, the Swedish Transport Administration and Mora Municipality.
A speed limit of 40 km/h is being introduced on Sollerön these days.

“It is a welcome measure to increase road safety,” says Staffan Bond, chairman of the Parish Association, who has been driving the matter. “Traffic is increasing. We have many narrow roads through densely built-up areas. We have many cyclists, tractors, pedestrians, strollers, schoolchildren and pets moving on the roads every day. There is also wildlife, especially deer, that unexpectedly appears in front of the car. It is good that we can ease off the gas and drive safely.

PS Drive carefully even on the main roads. Now the game is on the run at dawn and dusk.

Congratulations on the new asphalt!

Mora Municipality is paving. The newly laid asphalt is already on Kulåravägen and parts of Rothagevägen. Soon, road users on Bråmåbovägen will be able to enjoy a smooth, nice road without potholes and bumps. It is long-awaited and bare, but there are more roads that need "good care", such as Alderkittvägen and Vibergsvägen.
