Passionate commitment to the Bengtsarvet for the village and the countryside!
Solleröbladet continues the presentation of village and summer cottage associations in the parish. Now it is Bengtsarvet's turn, where the resident Gothenburger Ulf Hertzberg is chairman. "The village association's task is to safeguard the interests of the village, look after the boat harbour and strengthen the village community," says Ulf. "A major ongoing project right now, which should be completed within 2 years, is to complete the piers with Y-bars. There is a lot of interest in boats in the village with the harbour and the Ångbåtsbryggan. We are also improving the path to the south, which means you can walk and cycle without getting soaked. Along the path, we have also renovated the slogboden with its accompanying barbecue area.
The board is very committed and also consists of: Helene Nordre (treasurer), Anders Lundqvist, Britti Halvarsson and Johan Swierenga. Alternates are Åsa Hertzberg, Peter Norell and Bo Johansson.” Solleröbladet feels that there is strong commitment and good satisfaction in Bengtsarvet.
