Since April 2020, the BID project has been working on the question: How can we make Sollerön an even more attractive place? A significant number of stakeholders have been represented in the project. Båkkan has been in focus. We have investigated issues related to accessibility, safety, supply, and physical design. During the course of the work, we identified the need for expert and co-financed GAIA architecture to help us sort out the issues. GAIA's work is summarized and exhibited in the entrance of the Parish Hall.
The ODLA TORG project is a consequence of this. The Architecture and Design Center granted funds to work during the summer on temporarily changing the function of some places. The idea is that this provides a good basis for being able to take a position on more permanent changes. On September 25, the final test will be carried out in the form of a harvest festival. New surfaces will be tested. The tests are, among other things, for visitors to be able to experience change and contribute their thoughts about the experience.
So, please contribute your thoughts! Maybe you have already been there on one of the previous occasions? You can email to odlatorg@gmail.com or verbally to the project people on site on September 25th.
