“We have had a very good influx of people moving into Bodarna in recent years, the village feels lively,” says Mattias Svensson, chairman of Bodarna Village Association.
“In addition to keeping Rävnäs clean and tidy by clearing debris and cleaning, our most important purpose is to have an annual gathering where villagers simply meet and socialize.
In the 80s, the Village Festival was one of the absolute highlights of the year for us children in the village. Back then, we could run around listening to the stories and laughter of the elders well into the wee hours. The goal must be to get back to that level again! We are looking forward to the vaccine so that we can start planning this year's Village Festival.”
Mattias is joined on the Village Association's board by Leif Stunis and Anders Ernlund. A board that expects to add members during the spring.
