The BID project, which aims to develop commercial services and improve local collaboration, has now reported step 6 of 7 to project owner Region Dalarna, with a good grade. During the summer, local residents can participate and have their say on the design of the business plan. A draft is published on the project's Facebook page Service BID Sollerön – For vibrant towns with smart service solutions. And that there is a printed version to browse at the Parish House. Suggestions for improvements to the business plan must be received no later than August 15th and submitted to BID managers.
Broadly speaking, the three focus groups work on tourism issues, traffic issues and developing the area around Coop Sollerön. The latter work has resulted in a collaboration between Mora Municipality, Coop Sollerön, Återbruket Klippen, Mora Parish and Gaia Arkitektur. In the project that goes by the name Cultivate squares Together with the local population, they intend to test and evaluate creating a car-free meeting place in front of the Coop entrance.
