Now it was Gesundasonen Sören Bondesson who, during the past weekend, August 19-21, gathered a group of writers for a writing course in Bönhuset. Accommodation was in Gesundagården.
Sören gives courses for beginners and for those who already have experience in writing. The writing course was organized by the publisher Ordfront.
“There were no beginners this time. Those who participated have already written books,” says Sören. “The students learn the craft and artistic basics of writing fiction. The students’ texts are the focus and are discussed based on various questions.
They can bring their ongoing book manuscripts. We read through them, give praise and criticism, and discuss the plans.”
Sören teaches courses in novel writing and crime fiction. His students over the years include Jens Lapidus and Åsa Larsson. He also teaches copywriting at Forsbergs Reklamskola in Stockholm.
We ask Sören if there will be more writing courses in Bönhuet?
“I hope so because the environment is absolutely fantastic and inspiring.”
Now the participants came from places like Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Örebro. Next time maybe some local talent will be interested?
