It has long been tricky to meet cars on the hill to and from Ångbåtsbryggan.
Now it's easier because there is now a newly built meeting place in the middle of the hill. Funds from the County Administrative Board and the Landowners have made the project possible, which also includes a new parking lot in front of the former house for "Gamla Siljansbåtar", now the village cottage in Bengtsarvet.
On the Strandstigen south from the Ångbåtsbryggan, the Bengtsarvet Community Council has carried out drainage work, which makes it much easier to hike the trail.
