The list could be made long about what happens around Bystugan and Bönhuset in Gesunda.
“The idea is that there will be a fenced yard around the Prayer House,” says initiator Stig Wass.
"It's been more than 150 years since the last time, so now it's really about time again. A fenced yard symbolizes Dalarna perhaps more than anything else. It will be a genuine Dala environment around Sweden's most beautiful prayer house, and it will also be good for safety with a fenced yard facing the main thoroughfare," continues Stiga.
The project has already started and the first load of poles/posts for the fence is in front of the Bönhuset. “We need poles and poles for about 200 meters of fence, which will be about 1200,” says Stig. “The plan is to fell/thin the spruce trees now in September-October, let them dry under a metal roof this winter and then start assembling the fence in the spring. All villagers can contribute by renting out forest, thinning, collecting or assembling. You can also swish a contribution to the Village Association at 123 671 6773. Together we make Gesunda more attractive,” concludes Stig Wass.
