Four gray-haired "Vikings" are being seen more and more often at the local history museum. The exciting project of building a furnace to produce iron like the Vikings did is getting closer to its premiere.
Kenneth Broqvist says: "The work continues. We are slightly behind schedule, but the furnace is now completely bricked with refractory bricks to a height of 3 stones. The bellows have been purchased. The next step is to conduct a test firing during the next month."
"We'll be in touch when the premiere actually happens. Then there will be sparks in the autumn darkness," say Kenneth and his friends.
