In a chat about the islands of Gesundafjärden, an old Sollerö resident swore about how difficult it was to keep track of the names of the islands between Sollerön and the mainland. He was right. It's not that easy because the archipelago consists of about 20 islands.

The greatest depth of Siljan is 134 metres, but here in the archipelago it is shallow.
In the past, iron works from Siljansfors Järnbruk were transported on steamers with barges from the harbour in Ryssa. Today, it is leisure boats and amateur fishermen who cruise the waters.
