Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend and have a nice Easter break now with brighter days and hopefully lots of sun and warmer days.
Our sports activities
The football fields have mostly thawed out and it is starting to get tighter to bring the grass surfaces to life and hopefully we can soon put in boats to start training on the water. Covid-19 with the current restrictions makes it uncertain how the sport will be able to be conducted this season, but we are training to be ready when matches and competitions start.
Siljan Around 2021
Last week, the Siljan Runt Committee and the Main Board decided to move this year's edition of Siljan Runt to the weekend of September 11-12. This is due to Covid-19 and current restrictions that make it far too uncertain to be able to hold a race in June. Our hope is that the circumstances will be different in September so that we can hold a race that is 100% safe and secure for both cyclists, officials and the entire Sollerön community.
Logging Sports Park
The timber and stockpiles to be chipped will soon be transported away from the park. Until then, we would like to urge you to be careful and absolutely not climb into these piles!
