If you look at the "Water and Sewerage Plan for Mora", the water supply and sanitation network was supposed to start expanding on Sollerön this year. But that doesn't seem to be happening. The expansion in the Ryssa area took more time than planned.
Last year, the new pipeline network in Håvånäs and Borstnäs in Ryssa was finally inspected and approved. This meant that the property owners could begin work on connecting to the water supply network. This means that the water supply expansion in Ryssa/Borstnäs/Håvånäs was completed after a few years of work.

According to the plan, Nusnäs was supposed to start in 2019, but is now in the planning stages for 2020.

The expansion on Sollerön (Utanmyra) would begin in 2020-2021 and in Isunda in 2022. Then Sollerön again (Bodarna, Kulåra, Bråmåbo/Häradsarvet). And then Kättbo and Kråkbergslandet in 2026-2035.
On Nodava's website, there are only two VA projects listed (under the tab: Connection to municipal water and sewerage – Information about water and sewerage expansion ), the completed water supply and sanitation work in the Ryssa area and the ongoing work with Nusnäs (Vålan/Sionsvägen). Nothing about the upcoming water supply and sanitation work on Sollerön etc. is included.
Drought and water shortage during hot summers
In Sollerö parish, the drought during some of the last few summers has resulted in low or dried up private wells for drinking water in the villages. Well drilling has taken place in, among other places, southern Gesunda, where private individuals have been allowed to drill for their own water. In Ryssa, municipal water came, so water is secure there for those who had dry wells. But for Sollerön, there could be problems with hot and dry summers in the coming years with dry wells as a result, before the water supply network is expanded and the water supply is secured.
It is important that the water and sanitation work on Sollerön is not delayed too much.
