The year is 1987. Thirty years after the Sollerö Åldringsfond was founded, Stoltgården is inaugurated. Right from the start, with a cooking kitchen as a service for the
accommodation and for the entire Sollerön.
The year is 1995The kitchen is expanding and being built out. Mora municipality is responsible for and runs the kitchen.
The year is 2007. The municipality closes the kitchen and introduces so-called "Sala boxes" which are delivered by Samhall. The residents are sad and disappointed. To their great joy, the kitchen is opened
the kitchen under our own management on February 1, 2009.
The year is 2011. AB Stoltgårdens Mat & Café is formed as a subsidiary of Brf Soldi with a start-up contribution from the Åldringsfonden. The main argument is that food prepared on site is an important physical and social service for the residents and for
Sollerön.
Now in 2023The kitchen has survived a pandemic even though the number of servings has decreased.
There are several advantages to Stoltgårdens Mat & Café:
- It is a social meeting place with a high enjoyment factor for residents, visitors and tourists.
- Well-prepared Swedish home cooking is served here. Among the favorites are cabbage pudding, kale with beetroot and raggmunk with pork. On Fridays, dessert is included.
- Having your own cooking kitchen means security. Residents can talk to the chefs. You can't do that with lunch boxes that have been produced several miles away.
- Always extra Friday offers!
Current weekly menu is available at www.solleron.se, FB: "Sollerön's Bulletin Board" and FB: "Gesunda Village in my heart".
You can also book association lunches, dinners and catering.
Welcome, let the path to your stomach go through your Sollerö heart!
